Beetle is easy. Griffon is more difficult, but doable. Usually if peeps in your guild can't/ won't help, if you call out in map chat for help and say you're working on griffon, people will help. They know it's a bear to get. Though now, with skyscale, griffon was positively a breeze in comparison
287. Posted July 12, 2018. Beetle is useful. It's scope may be narrower than most mounts, but it does excel in some areas. Long distances, as already stated. Say you've just auto-leveled a new character to 80 and you need to unlock waypoints. Also remember that beetles will accelerate down hill.
To add to that, the Roller Beetle is obtainable from the 3rd episode of LW4. The Skyscale requires the entire LW4 season, but you get it from the last episode of it and the Warclaw is obtainable via WvW after finishing a reward track and finding a few things scattered around the map.
